How much is shipping?
The shipping cost is the same as the published shipping cost using UPS ground shipping. We use Ups or United States Postal Service. This is calculated based on the approximate weight of your package and zone its being sent. Also a handling charge will apply. When you put items in your shopping cart, the shipping cost is calculated and adjusted according to the items you put in your cart. If you'd like to know how much your shipping cost would be for an item, you can put it in your shopping cart and then click 'check out' to see how much the shipping cost is listed for that item or list of items.
How long will my order take to get to me?
Website orders are processed and shipped on the same
or next business day after they are received.Shipping times vary depending on the state you live in. We use UPS/United Postal Service for Shipping.
With in the US your order can take anywhere from 5-10 business days. If we are currently out of stock in a particular item please allow 2-3 weeks for delivery Shipments from Africa are known to be slower.
Why are some of your products not made in Africa?
Some of our products (Very Few) are not made in Africa. These products are African inspired. Some of our customers who like African made products also like these items. So we make it available to you.
How do you handle Quality Assurance with the Drums?
Ouality Assurance:
Drums are made in remote bush areas of Africa. Each Drum is a unique creation with unique qualities. No drum is perfect, but each drum is inspected for the following:
No holes
No imperfections in wood base and bowl
fist size sound openings between base and bnowl
head ring tightness
string tightness
level and even head
sound quality
